5. Travel adapter: If you're traveling internationally, you'll need a travel adapter to make sure your devices can be charged and used in other countries. 

6. Comfortable clothing and shoes: As a journalist, you'll likely be on your feet for long periods of time, so you need comfortable clothing and shoes. Look for clothes that are breathable and stretchy, and shoes that are supportive and easy to walk in. 

7. Travel-sized toiletries: To save space in your luggage, bring travel-sized versions of your toiletries. This includes things like toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

10. Travel documents: Finally, don't forget to bring all the necessary travel documents with you, including your passport, visas, and any other important paperwork. Make copies of these documents and keep them in a separate place in case your originals get lost or stolen.                            ESSENTIALS FOR A TRAVELLING JOUNALIST 1 – CAMERAS:  I’ve used a lot of cameras in my career, from film to digital, and I recently switched to Fuji’s mirrorless cameras trying to cut down on weight and space. My new X-T2 is my main camera, while the trusty little X30 is my backup. (Professionals always carry a backup.)
